This Klipsch Heritage Series Active DSP Crossover is specifically designed to work with the Klipschorn AK7.
Our new Active Crossover uses trickle-down technology—the Heritage Active DSP, optional with Klipschorn® AK7 and La Scala® AL6 loudspeakers, is the same active DSP we offer with our Klipsch Jubilee floorstanding loudspeakers. The difference is the firmware, which we designed specifically to embrace and enhance the sound of Klipschorns and La Scalas.
Tuned precisely to the Klipschorn or La Scala audio spectrums, the Heritage Active DSP aligns time and phase while boosting frequencies and balancing EQ. This process produces a flat, color-free response that brings out the best in every Klipschorn AK7 or La Scala AL6 speaker.
Using signal processing technology, the Heritage Active DSP analyzes the crossover and adjusts for horn throat depth and wavelength, delaying the signal to specific speakers to ensure that all sound arrives simultaneously at the listener’s ears.
